Prolific author Lauren Wood has published over forty books and has offered several of her series as bundles! Her genre is racy naughty chick lit and in that realm she excels. Her alpha males are strong enough to make the hard decisions in life but sweet enough to melt for his mate. Now she adds a new series – Daddies and Babies – of which BILLIONAIRE AND NANNY SECRET is volume 1.

This novel is a standalone in that it is a new take on a well-know subject of ‘secret babies.’ The characters are well drawn and we meet Quinn first, at her interview for the nanny job: ‘I knocked on the door and waited for his response. “Come in.” His voice was low and sultry...He looked like he should be in movies rather than running an office. I wasn’t the kind of person to be swayed by a man’s looks, but he was a different story altogether. His skin was fair, as if he’d never been a tan a day in his life. His hair was a dusky brown and pushed back to stay out of his face. His muscles were obvious in his suit, and I wondered how often he worked out. Ezra’s eyes were almost a crystalline blue, and he was clearly a good bit taller than me….’ The two primary characters are introduced and story begins.

The story follows the outline – ‘My new boss, Ezra Ledger, isn’t looking for a relationship. And that’s fine. Because neither am I. Lauren Wood’s single dad romance combines individual dreams and values with the pull of love. The struggles and compromises that are needed on the pathway of life and love fill the novel with tensions and joy as love triumphs, affirming each individual’s journey.

Quinn's friend refers her to Ezra to be his new nanny for his daughter. Ezra wasn't sure if she would work out because she didn't have any experience but after seeing how she is with his daughter he knows everything will be alright. Quinn loves her new job but is having a hard time with her attraction for Ezra. Its not long before Ezra makes his move on her when he can't keep his hands off her anymore. Ezra starts to regret what happened between them and tells her it can't happen again. Quinn doesn't like it but agrees with him. However it does happen again. When she has a family emergency and has to leave Ezra starts rethinking things in his relationship with Quinn. Will she return to have him end things? Or will they be able to move forward?

This is an amazing story that will draw you in from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I truly enjoyed meeting Quinn and Ezra.their chemistry and their passion is contagious.
I however would like to see or at least find out about a couple of characters, like Kayley and Klaus. Not necessarily together, together. But see if they find out their own HEA.

Well only time will tell. But until then, bring on the pancakes.

This has it all, billionaire, age gap, secret pregnancy. Ezra is a single father of the mosylt adorable little girl, and needs a new nanny. Quinn is who he hires, based on a high recommendation from his old nanny, and her best friend. But when he finds himself having feelings for Quinn, he does what he is best at, and pushes her away. Ezra was not my favorite character, but understandable when you know his backstory. He definitely wants to protect hia heart.
Quinn is working towards becoming a vet, and is doing her internship around taking care of Paige, I loved her character, she has a big heart, and loves Ezras daughter, Paige.
