It started ok but about halfway through it became unreadable. I really tried to finish it but the endless pages of fight scenes that should have been a page or two at most found me skimming pages. And what's with the grunts and groans from the main character it just became annoying. It's a shame I really like the multi book collections and I'm not sure but I think I've read something from these two writers before and liked it but not this one.

I have enjoyed the story of Terak and all the many and varied allies friends and enemies he made throughout his epic adventures. Only one thing stopped me giving it five stars. It has quite an abrupt ending. It would have been lovely if the many ends were tied up. What happened to each of the special friends?
