About Daniel Moreno

Daniel Moreno was born and reared in the rough and tumble neighborhood of Humboldt Park in Chicago, IL to Evangelical pastors. Confined to the space within the fence around his single-family home, he developed a love for backyard baseball, self-entertaining and reading outdated encyclopedias. This fostered artistic expression and he has spent most of his life either running from or head-first into art. An actor, musician, podcast host, and writer, Daniel spends a lot of his creative energy writing flash fiction for guests on his podcast Other You. The 52+-story compilation book, Other You Podcast: Season One, is in the works.

“Shhh” and “Pop!” are his first published short stories.
