Together, we compiled this anthology to resemble an old 45 RPM vinyl record, with an A and B side. The 'A' side stories are all based on the theme, "Tolerance." Whereas side 'B' are tales straight from the hearts of the authors.
Both sides, like those records of old, are a banquet of entertainment for the reader. So sit back with a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, put your feet up, get comfy, and prepare to enjoy the feast.

About the authors
Aletta Bee lives near Los Angeles, California, alongside the MGM lake built for its Tarzan movies. She loves the 47 ducks and 24 Koi who populate the lake. Her cat would love them too, but that’s a no-no.
A Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, Aletta Bee is fascinated by the way people influence each other, misunderstand each other, and ultimately love each other.
Soleah Kenna Sadge is a fantasy author who lives up to her grandfather's nomadic legacy. Traveling makes her happy, especially when she stumbles on historical places tied to legends, myths, and folklore that she can incorporate in her stories.
She currently resides in the United States where she dedicates half of her time to writing. The other half, she teaches languages to college students and opens their eyes to new cultures.

Ana Paulina Lipster was born in Brazil and fell in love with the English language in junior high - love at first word. Ana Paulina has written many short stories, two of which are published in the Tolerance anthology. Her crime novel Branded will be published soon.
I am a husband, a father, and a writer living in New Mexico. Thrilling people with my storytelling is what I enjoy most and I write because I have incredible stories to tell. I take no responsibility for the things the characters say and do (ha ha ha). I develop a character and that person becomes a free spirit exploring the world I create for them.
Sincerely, Kevin Urban
Jonathan Byrd is a husband, father of three daughters, and an eternal optimist oftentimes labeled a Micawber. He was born in Biloxi and never imagined living anywhere else. However, after leaving he never imagined moving back. The more he sees of the world the more he wants to see. Currently he lives in Fairhope, Alabama, the hidden jewel of the state.
His favorite genre to write in is science fiction, but he has completed and is polishing Seafood Capital of the World, a historical fiction novel set in the Prohibition Era on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
He has teamed with a group of nine authors to self-publish short story anthologies. Tolerance: A Collection of Short Stories, Autumn: An Anthology, and recently Spring—The Unexpected.
When he isn’t writing he’s thinking about writing even if it looks like he’s doing something else—like work. He has an answer for everything, opinion on anything, and is quiet about nothing.
Kathleen Osborne's focus is on Sci-Fi Romance set in the present time and short stories of various genres.
She lives with her husband of 45 years, and they're four-legged 'girls' - Sugar and Gigi - who run the house. Together they have two children - Angella and Joseph, who have five children between them. In November 2021, they welcomed their 2nd great grandson into their extended family.
She lives at an elevation over 6000 feet in the White Mountains of northeastern Arizona. Has created an avid interest in baking. And imbibed her with a desire for new recipes for high altitude.
When asked how does she get her stories out so quickly in Kindle Vella, her reply was, "My husband is my greatest encourager and my biggest fan, that said he is also quick to point out any errors in a manuscript. Just as he is with helping in my research. We are a team."
She just announced her newest book, Hidden Dragons, on Kindle Vella will have its first chapter posted on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. She is working on a video and audio excerpt from it. I will post it on her website and here as soon as it is done.
You can find out more about her and the team she works with for the Anthologies she prints, too, by going to her website (www.kosborne-author.com) and the Transcendent Author's site (www.transcendent-authors.com).

The book is described as similar to the old phonographic discs that held recordings on both sides. Side A contains ten short stories based on Tolerance. The individual tales cover a wide variety of different subjects ranging from what it would be like to be able to eavesdrop through fantasy/magical realism, on a restricted conversation indulged in by persons placing them; “realistic fiction”; imaginative fiction, literary fiction; sci-fi/romance; even a memoir and a couple of unique stories authored by individuals as described. The authors range from an “emerging author” and a “late bloomer” arriving from numerous years in the military and other pursuits to well accepted professional authors. One is unique in having acquired a passion for learning a different manner of expression that is displayed here; another, ‘coming-to-grips-with a position as a member of the Jewish Faith’ with “its own dysfunctions and historical misfortune”; another prefers light fantasy; sci-fi and time travel; still another who travels extensively to places “tied to legends and folklore that she can include in her stories” and “is a fiction writer whose preferred genre is “contemporary fantasy with a touch of romance”; one more “works in pseudo-technology and has an innate ability to find street tacos in every city.” Still another describes himself as a man who “has an answer for everything, opinion on anything, and is quiet about nothing” and provides an approach to history, its existence and interpretation, past, present and future (?) - His stated preference is sci-fi/time travel. Side B, the “flipside” contains short stories “from the heart of these same authors”.
Discussion: This book offers an eclectic collection of unusual (strange?) stories in a variety of genres that can initiate thoughtful contemplation. Side B perhaps offers an even greater cause for rumination about the authors, their thought processes and similarities-dissimilarities between their offerings on both sides of ‘the disc’.
This anthology is a fun way to escape the serious times we live in. I highly recommend it!

The stories themselves are a mix of genres, with characters that have wide-ranging perspectives, and are as different as the authors themselves. There really is something for everyone here, from sci-fi to fantasy to memoir. I really enjoyed this collection and hope to read more from these authors.
