Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Judging from the other reviews, I wonder if anyone noticed that although the date of original publication has been removed, it is an FM published by HQs Dept of the Army, Washington 25, DC. That makes it 1963 or older, before zip codes were established. It is actually a wonderful historical document describing Special Forces organization, etc very early in the Vietnam War. For me, it brings back all kinds of memories of my youth. Just a great book!
I was hoping that this would read a bit more like FM 3-21.8, putting everything into easy to learn layman's terms. I bought this book for a friend with an interest in guerrilla warfare tactics. This book focuses much less on the tactical side of conducting unconventional warfare tactics and placing much emphasis on the organizational and technical side of it. That is to say, I was hoping that it would be oriented towards a junior leader audience (TL-PL) but instead it focuses more on the operations level.
