U.S. Military training can and often does build character.

This book puts you not only in the body of a soldier in a fire-fight and being wounded, but in his or her mind, feeling their emotions, reading their thoughts, feeling their emotions. Each personal testimony puts the reader inside their skin. It gives a brief intro to what they were growing up, and the character development military training and life gave each participant in this dramatic view inside the Americans who chose to serve. It was a rapid read, with laughter, fear, pain, tears and pride. I am proud to have served if only during the Cold War of Vietnam. This book will make America more Precious to the reader.
