A "how to" book on neighboring.
Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on September 9, 2015
This is a quiet little book. The question is that we are told to love our neighbor. But do we?
And if not----why? There are some good thoughts and suggestions for remedying the neighbor problem.
However, people today and today's lifestyle make it more difficult. I feel that people are not bored at home any more.
A few free minutes can be filled by turning on the tv or the computer. Where we used to seek out company we now
have it at our fingertips. Pathak and Runyon did a good job of presenting the satisfaction and joy from personal
relationships. They identified some of the relationship problems and gave suggestions for dealing with them,ie.
barking dog, impositions that develop, and difficult people. I perceive that women who work all day want to come
home and collapse. There are churches and organizations that are attempting to help neighborhoods become closer.
