Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I bought this manual mainly for research towards a Novel that I am writing. It does proclaim to be an official Dept. of Army Handbook, but who really knows. Some good historical timeline just enough insight to be interested in but exceedingly technical jargon that's best we just leave for the Professionals. After scanning a few pages one couldn't help but to feel grateful to be an American though.
When I have an interest in a subject, I always like it and I liked this. This isn't an easy read, it helps to have a military background and it isn't really aimed at individual action. This is a technical manual for group action and it's good for it's intended purpose. If you're into survivalism and the prepper movement it's a good resource and worth the price.
This isn't a tactics book, this is a management book. It focuses more on gathering a force to fight and then supplying, assisting, and managing them. Which is what The Special Forces do... This is not a tactics book.
Informative, but from the late 90's. It talks about the USIS. The USIS was disbanded and then revamped as a part of the Dept of Interior. The disbanding was in 98' I believe. So the info is not up to date as it's said it is supposed to be, but it's good info none the less.
This little book has some very accurate information in it. I was trained in Guerrilla Warefare, Riot Control and Urban Combat in the late 60's. Also 82nd Airborne. Survival Course with the Rangers. I am 67-yo and still a Soldier, still in good physical condition. This book filled my need to reminisce. Thanks Seller.
