It could have been very good…

It could have been very good if it did not have a Protestant view. After I read that Jesus may have had brothers and sisters I did not go on any further.
The author could have said, “Some Christians believe that Jesus might have had brothers and sisters.” By saying that “He may have had several brothers and sisters, including one named James,” it is implied that it’s a possibility. In Catholic theology, it is not a possibility.
(I’m *not* debating whether or not he had brothers and sisters. I’m only debating the way it’s written for a 7 to 10-year-old to read.) I returned it.
For many people, it’s probably going to be fine. I think that Protestant parents should also read it before giving it to a child, however.
It makes me wonder about the viewpoint of other books in this series.
They are easy books to read for adults so I would advise reading each book before you give it to your student or child.
